Important: if you are a headsail.net customer, the login address for webmail has changed from https://mail.headsail.net to https://webmail.headsail.net.

Please be sure to enter your email address as username@headsail.net

If you have questions or any difficulties with your account, please contact the helpdesk at this domain address.

For technical reference, your e-mail client (such as Outlook, Eudora, Netscape Mail, Pegasus, Thunderbird) should be set to use mail.headsail.net as both the incoming and outgoing mail server.

Our server REQUIRES smtp authentication before you can send if you are connecting to the server from outside our network. This applies to most people.

We SUPPORT secure SSL connections for POP3, SMTP and IMAP. This enhanced security is for the encryption of your e-mail between your e-mail client and our server during transit. Be aware that this does NOT encrypt your e-mail all the way to its final destination to remote addresses. Only e-mail encryption will do that.

Currently, you will get a certificate error. We are working to rectify the SSL certificate for the headsail.net domain. Once that is fixed, you will not see a security certificate error when attempting to use secure POP3, SMTP or IMAP services with your e-mail client.

If your ISP blocks port 25, you may use port 26 for SMTP (outbound) traffic to our mail server.
